How To Put Hashtags On Facebook
Before explaining how to use hashtags, We want to point out that you can use this feature of the social network both from a smartphone using the Facebook app for Android (also downloadable from alternative stores ) and iOS / iPadOS, and from a computer, using the platform Facebook web or its Windows application. Therefore, keep reading to know how to use hashtags to categorize your posts and stories within the well-known social network.
In The Posts
You can put hashtags on Facebook in the posts you publish on your profile or a Facebook page you manage quickly and easily. To do this, all you have to do is log in to Facebook from your smartphone or computer and go to your profile or the section of your Facebook page. At this point, use the text field to write a post on your profile or press the Create post button to start writing a post on your Facebook page.
In both cases, first, write the message’s text and then type the hashtags by writing # followed by the label you want to insert, for example, #Aranzulla. In the case of a hashtag consisting of several words, digital together without spaces: for example, #SalvatoreAranzulla. When you have finished writing the message’s text, publish the post as you usually do by pressing the Publish button.
In The Stories
You can also put hashtags on Facebook in stories, but it is not possible to interact with these labels in this section of the social network. To put hashtags in stories, you must first log into your Facebook account if you have not already done so, and then press the Create a story button to start this multimedia editor.
Once this is done, start creating a story with all the elements of your interest, such as text, music, and images. Then, in the editing section, press the Text button to be able to write a text overlay on the story. To enter the hashtags, all you have to do is write the # symbol followed by the word or words you want to use to label the story, as explained in the previous chapter. Finally, after customizing the story, hit the share button to publish it, just like you usually do.
How To Write Hashtags On Facebook
After learning how to use hashtags, you would like to understand how these labels are used. Why would you want to search for the content of your interest on Facebook? No problem, you can do this on your smartphone and PC. All you have to do is log into Facebook, if you haven’t already, to view its search engine ( the magnifying glass icon ).
Now, type in the text field shown to you the word of your interest, without spaces and preceded by the symbol # (for example, #Aranzulla or #SalvatoreAranzulla ), and enter. To view the corresponding search results, i.e., all posts published by users with that hashtag. Finally, We remind you that, in the posts, it is possible to interact with hashtags: by pressing on them, it is possible, even in this case, to view all the contents published by users on Facebook that have been categorized with that specific label.
