According to the latest rumors, a new smartphone is coming to the top of the range: Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be launched simultaneously worldwide in the coming months. A new report from the company would speak of the global launch of what will be the new flagship model of the Chinese giant; still nothing official, but, according to these leaked documents, the arrival on the western market will take place simultaneously with the eastern one.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra, All The Rumors About The New Hardware
Xiaomi’s new top-of-the-range is news that is far from obvious. If, on the one hand, it is true that the manufacturer has recorded strong growth numbers also in the West; on the other hand, it is equally true that the old world has always remained one step behind China, which has always had a higher priority. Clear proof of these differences is that the latest Xiaomi 12S Ultra never arrived in the West, remaining exclusive to the Eastern market. Currently, there are no official confirmations regarding the new smartphone. Still, some sites have spread the news that Xiaomi 13 Ultra is already a reality and is almost ready to be shown to the world.
According to rumors, the device will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor with a 1 + 2 + 2 + 3 configuration, with one Core Cortex-X3, two Core Cortex-A720, two Cortex-A710, and three Cortex-A510. Among other information leaked online, it also appears that it will sport a 1-inch primary sensor with a resolution of 50MP, while the telephoto and ultrawide sensors will have a resolution of 48MP. Here to nothing confirmed, but they would still be technical specifications in line with what is shown on Xiaomi 12S Ultra. In terms of charging, it should have a fast charging function between 120W and 200W. The company recently gained approval for 210W fast charging technology, but leaked reports suggest a more powerful charger.
It seems that some internal tests have confirmed that the new technology can fully recharge the battery of a dead smartphone in about 8 minutes. For wireless charging, on the other hand, the device should rely on a 50W circuit designed internally by the company. As for the screen, Xiaomi 13 Ultra should be equipped with a 6.7-inch Samsung E6 display, with a screen resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the other hand, the “base” edition should have a 6.36-inch 2.5D flexible screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Pro version should be able to count on a four-way infinite micro-curved display. The operating system is expected to be the brand new Android 13.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra, The Launch Window On The Market
The new Xiaomi 13 Ultra should arrive on the market next November, parallel to the new Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, representing the very high-end variant. If this launch window were confirmed, it would represent a big change for the company that generally brought Ultra smartphones to the market several months after the other devices and only in the East. Also, the recent arrival of Xiaomi 12S Ultra arrived on the market in July, while Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro became officially available in December 2021, first in China and then in the rest of the world.
